CALDWELL, Idaho (CBS2) — The Southwest District Health Board of Health will hold a special meeting using video conference on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at 8:30 a.m.
The original meeting was set to take place last Thursday but was canceled over safety concerns.
For members of the public that aren't able to stream the meeting on their own, Southwest District Health is opening up a meeting room at the Canyon County Administration Building at 111 N. 11th Avenue in Caldwell.
State health leaders will be there to give updates on the area's response to COVID-19.
The board will discuss possible actions to implement public health measures, addressing topics like mass gathering size, visits to senior living facilities, and face coverings.
The meeting room will accommodate seating for approximately 20 people. Social distancing will be required and masks must be worn.
Any person who does not wish to social distance or wear a mask will not be allowed to enter.
The district allowed public comment through a survey website up until Monday morning at 10 a.m. Those comments will be addressed by the board during the meeting but beyond that, no public comment will be allowed.
No outdoor viewing option will be available. The meeting will be available for live streaming on the SWDH YouTube page.
We will also carry it live on IdahoNews.com and the CBS2 Facebook page.
