Owen Labrie (born October 11, 1995) is an American Controversial Personality from Concord, New Hampshire. He is the former St. Paul’s School student. Owen convicted of sexually assaulting Chessy Prout (15-year-old back then) in their school campus back in 2014. Furthermore, the 23-year-old Labrie is now at the Merrimack County correctional facility in Boscawen, New Hampshire.
Ross Cunningham (Superintendent) stated that Owen Labrie surrendered himself. Moreover, he will now be serving his nine-month remaining time in the prison.
In 2015, Labrie was sentenced to a year for sexual assault. Later, he released from the jail on bail and he also appealed for his sentences. However, Owen was sent to prison in 2016. According to a source, Labrie violated the terms of his release by missing court-ordered curfews.
As a result of the bail cancellation order, he served 63 days in the Boscawen prison. Larry M. Smukler (Superior Court Judge) rejected Labrie’s request for a reduced sentence. The former student also ordered to surrender on 26 December 2018.
Sexual Assualt Case about Chessy Prout
In May 2014, Chessy was sexually assaulted by Owen Labrie. He remained a star athlete at St. Paul’s School. It is an elite private school in Concord, New Hampshire. Furthermore, the incident happened when Owen approached her during senior salute activity.
It is a tradition at the boarding school where a senior emails a younger student before their graduation. Moreover, Prout initially denied Owen’s offer but later she agreed to meet him. Initially, Chessy thought that it will be just simple meet or they just kiss each other. But she said in a statement that Owen Labrie raped her.

But Owen said that they didn’t have sex. In addition, he pleaded not guilty to multiple counts of felonious sexual assault. After the trail, Chessy’s all-male friends stopped talking to her and she felt isolated.
Therefore, she changed her school. In August 2016, Prout also began the #IHaveTheRightTo initiative with the organization PAVE. Finally, Chessy received the justice that she deserved.
