On Thursday, a social media influencer who was known as Miss Oxygen broke Mzansi's hearts with her passing.

The 30-year-old, whose real name was Gontlafetse Sehako, was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, which made her dependent on oxygen tanks.

We reported on Thursday that her last post was just heartbreaking.

"I’m scared, scareder, scaredest," her last tweet read.

South Africans were left heartbroken over the news and they flooded social media with posts in her honour.

Lessy Lesego, who goes by the Twitter handle @LessyJantjie, commented: "Rest In Peace Angel, your smile is the one thing I will always remember ka wena. Fly away to a better place with no pain, and my friend, strongs, can't be easy loosing your soulmate #RIPMissOxygen #MissOxygen #ICarryHopeInMyLungs."
