Kevin Harvick is, with no doubt, the most frustrating drive at Bristol Motor Speedway as the veteran had one of the most disappointing outings of his career in the Food City Dirt Race. Following a bad start to the race, he was forced to exit the track after 100 laps.

Kevin Harvick was caught up in a multi-car crash on the backstretch that involved Hendrick Motorsport driver Alex Bowman, Spire Motorsports driver Corey LaJoie and part-time Cup series Driver Noah Gragson. Kevin Harvick’s No. 4 Ford Mustang found itself with right front suspension damage which made it undrivable.

Following his existence, the 2014 Cup Champion went on an angry rant against NASCAR for the “terrible job” they did on “prepping the track” for the race.

Find out what Kevin Harvick said

Kevin Harvick acknowledged that NASCAR has done a terrible job at prepping the track alluding to the fact that NASCAR had to throw caution at just lap 13 to allow teams to remove the mud flaps from the grill of the car. He added that he is unaware of the fact of who ran him over during the crash.

“The first thing I can tell you is we did a terrible job prepping the track. [It was] full of mud and there was nobody here to pack the track, so we all look like a bunch of bozos coming in to pit because we don’t know how to prep the track. And then we don’t get the lucky dog for whatever reason with two cars on pit road, and then we got run over. I don’t know who ran us over at the end,” Kevin Harvick said.

Kevin Harvick went on to say that he had a great car but the track wasn’t prepared well even though they have previous experience prepping it. He went on to say that Bristol is a great track it may not have been what everybody liked adding he finds the race now on this track ridiculous.

“I had a great car. The racetrack was fine; they just did a terrible job to start with. They’ve done this before, but obviously, it doesn’t look like it,” Kevin Harvick said.

“I think Bristol is a great racetrack. but it must not have been what everybody liked. I think it’s ridiculous that we’re doing what we’re doing anyway,” Kevin Harvick added.
