I take my collection of loafers extremely seriously, so much so I’ve racked up quite the collection (ahem, more than 10 pairs). You may be asking why I have so many loafers, but just like is the case with sneakers, there are various styles, and they serve their own purpose. 

My penny loafers are more of a casual everyday style, though they can be dressed up easily when paired with trousers. I wear my platform loafers more socially or whenever  I’m going out, as they’re a bit more of a statement. Pro tip: I often refer to Hailey Bieber’s Instagram when styling my chunkiest loafers, or any loafer, for that matter, as her assortment is *chef’s kiss*. Whenever I want to switch things up, a loafer mule is my go-to, for the obvious reason that they’re so easy to put on.

I call my Sam Edelman Linnie Mules my slipper loafers — business in the front, slip-on in the back. I love pairing these with chunky socks and classic mom jeans. But still, on occasion, I do want something that offers some height, which is when I usually reach for this ultra-chunky option from Aldo.
