The song was intentionally written and recorded as part of the official soundtrack for “Pure Country,” with Strait starring as the lead role.

“I Cross My Heart” was not the only song he recorded for the film; Strait was signed to do a full album that was released with the film.

As for the movie, “Pure Country” is about an artist in the country music scene who had great potential but decided to leave his career and chose to work on a farm instead. During his time on the farm, he finds himself falling in love with the farm owner’s daughter, Harley.

At some point in the film, the classic scene used in the song’s music video was shown, where Strait takes the stage and sings the song in front of Harley.

In the movie, Harley is clearly moved by Strait’s gesture, which made the scene even more emotional and romantic.

As for the recent happenings in Strait’s career, he announced that he would be extending his performances in 2019 with two more shows.

The King of Country announced that he would be adding two more dates in February 2019 for his “Strait to Vegas” show.
